Features of submersible level sensor

Universal submersible level sensor gives highly accurate liquid level measurement for a vast range of applications, including those in rough weather surroundings. The submersible level sensors have a dynamic pressure compensation method, activating high accuracy measurements over a wide temperature range. This sensor is, with no trouble, adapted to all data loggers, monitory equipment and displays.

Features of Submersible Level Sensor

Each of the submersible level sensors is consist of a solid state submersible pressure transducer encapsulated in stainless steel housing. It is fully encapsulated with marine grade epoxy so that moisture can never leak in or work its way down to the vent tube to cause level sensor failure. The submersible level sensor uses a unique flexible silicon diaphragm to interface between water and the sensing element. The silicon diaphragm protects the sensors electronics from catching moisture. The layout of the submersible pressure transducers eliminates the concerns associated with metal foil diaphragms, which tend to crinkle and stretch out over time causing drift, linearity, and other specific problems.

An ideal submersible level sensor usually works on foam, vapor and turbulence because it has excellent chemical resistance. Due to the integral weight, it makes the sensor laborious. Some of its special features are:

The new TankPro Series Submersible Level Sensor converts the level proportional hydrostatic pressure into a standardized 4-20mA signal. The back-lit display provides accurate visual indication of the process level measurement. The new external three-button menu function makes it simple to program and operate.
